Challenge logging began 2026-10-20; 11 settlements predate it and are excluded from the conversion rate and funnel (they are included in every other figure). The rate counts only the fully tracked era — the honest version of this number, per our published methodology.
Most agents that hit a price wall don't pay — that's normal. The conversion rate is the number that tells an API owner whether agent demand is real.

Verify is the first-pass result recorded at settlement time — a first-pass check can fail while chain state is still propagating, so the first-pass record is kept exactly as recorded, fails included. Recheck is the outcome when the same settlement is re-verified against settled chain state — automatic, about ten minutes after settlement, through the same public verifier — added alongside, without changing the first-pass record.
